About Sima Asad Ali, Esq.

Ms. Ali’s expertise encompasses a full range of labor relations, human resources and employment law experience enabling her to provide sound advice, counseling and training on such matters to human resources and business professionals. She is a frequent speaker and presenter on human resources and employment law topics throughout the New York metropolitan area. Ms. Ali has represented management in both private/public sectors before federal and state regulatory agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, state and federal Departments of Labor and other fair employment practice agencies. Ms. Ali has also appeared on behalf of numerous clients at grievances and arbitrations arising out of collective bargaining agreements and/or employment agreements. Her articles have appeared in industry trade publications and she has been quoted in area publications, such as the New York Times, on employment law topics.

She earned her B.S. degree from Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations and her J.D. from George Washington University School of Law. She is also a member of the Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations, the New York State Women's Bar Association, the Huntington Lawyer's Club, the Muslim Bar Association of New York, and the Hauppauge Industrial Association’s Human Resources Committee. She was admitted to New York State Bar in 1997 and is certified to practice in the United State District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
